This page contains answers to common questions handled by our support staff, along with some tips
and tricks that we have found useful and presented here as questions.
Note: In these answers we will follow a few shorthand conventions for describing user-interface
procedures. Key combinations will be presented like this: Ctrl+Alt+Delete, which means that you
should press and hold down the Control key, the Alt key, and the Delete key at the same time.
Menu selections will be presented like this: File->Open, which means that you should open the File
menu, and then make the Open selection. The Brackets [ ] designate a drive
letter, which could be different for each computer depending on how many Hard
Drives and CD-Rom Drives are in your computer.
- How do I boot from Floppy ?
- Where can I find answers on CMOS ?
- Why doesn't my computer boot from A Drive ?
- What is the best way to install Windows ?
- why won't my computer see the CDRom?

boot to A drive? Several things have to be set in order to boot to a
Floppy. 1st CMOS has to be set to boot to Floppy [A] and then the Hard Drive
[C]. 2nd you need a "bootable disk" with DOS, Windows 95a, Windows
95b, Windows 98 or other operating system.

To find answers on your CMOS, you will have to consult with the
manufacturer of your Mother Board. Each BIOS and Mother Board have a different
way of gaining access to the setup file.

If It won't Boot to A? Check CMOS for correct setting size of Floppy, Boot Sequence,
and make sure the light is comes on when trying to boot.
If the light never goes out, you don't have the drive cabled correctly.
You may have a bad floppy driver or the newly created disk is damage. Try
booting another computer with the same disk.

This one is fairly easy. XCopy the files to the Hard Drive and run setup
from the Hard Drive instead of the CD-Rom, that way the computer won't
prompt you for the CD each time you make a change.
In order to accomplish this, you first need a Boot Disk with the proper
Operating System, such as Windows 95a, Windows 98 etc.
Boot to the Floppy
Fdisk the Hard Drive and create a partition and reboot.
Format the Hard Drive.and reboot.
From the Windows 95, or 98 Directory,
ie [D:]\Win98 or [D:]\Win95 use the following command:
xcopy [D:]\win95\*.* c:\win95 /s /e or if
you have Windows 98.
xcopy [D:]\win98\*.* c:\win98 /s /e
Computer will prompt is it a [F]ile or [D]irectory... hit the key [D] for
Directory and it will start copying the files to the hard drive.
After it completes the copy - remove the Windows CD-Rom and type [C:] and
push enter. type CD\WIN95 or CD\WIN98 and push enter. you should see the
prompt changed to C:\WIN95 or C:\WIN98.
At this point type SETUP and push enter and the computer will start
to set up Windows on your Hard Drive.
Check the CMOS when the computer boots? Does the CDRom show up in CMOS?
If CMOS doesn't Identify the drive, neither will the boot disk.
